A  message from Jim Garner, director of human resources:

Julie StittThe Human Resources Department and the Center for Professional and Organizational Development (CPOD) are pleased to welcome our new senior manager of CPOD, Julie Stitt. Julie begins her new role effective February 9, 2014 and replaces Valerie Grabove, who is retiring but has agreed to remain at the College for a while to assist with Julie’s onboarding and to complete some project based work.

Julie comes to us from the University of British Columbia, where she worked as one of UBC’s Organizational Development and Learning Managers. In this role, Julie and her team had responsibility for employment engagement and staff development, organizational effectiveness and change management initiatives and leadership development and coaching.

Julie’s post- secondary credentials include an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University, a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University.

Julie also has experience teaching at the post- secondary level and has taught part-time within our School of Business and Management Studies since 2013.

As a reminder, Julie and the CPOD team are located in M 203 at the Welland campus.

Please join me in welcoming Julie to the Niagara College community.
