A message from Niagara College’s United Way Committee:

The United Way campaign has reached more than $26,000 thanks to the generous support of the Niagara College community. We are nearing our goal of $40,000 but need your help to make it the rest of the way there.  Please visit the portal at niagaracollege.ca/donate to make a pledge through payroll deduction benefitting any United Way or charitable organization of your choice. To make a pledge by credit card or cheque, contact Michelle Carile for a paper pledge form at [email protected] or ext. 7292.  

This week, Bench-to-Go is hosting the final coffee and tea drive of this year’s United Way campaign.  Take a break with a colleague, friend, or student and make your way over to Bench-to-Go for a hot beverage that lends a helping hand in our communities. View poster here.

We are also pleased to announce that the NC Greenhouse is supporting the United Way campaign this year! A portion of the proceeds from all poinsettia sales will be donated to the campaign. Visit the NC Greenhouse at the NOTL campus to check out their beautiful array of holiday poinsettias and other greenery – a great way to support NC’s own learning enterprises and the United Way at the same time.

Remember that we’ll be drawing for prizes at the campaign closing ceremony at the President’s Holiday Reception on December 11 and the only way to get your name into the draw is to make a pledge! Plan to join us for a great celebration of our campaign’s success in a few short weeks.
