Digital Photography program launches website

A screen shot of NC’s new Digital Photography website is pictured above.

The Digital Photography program at Niagara College is pleased to announce the launch of its website at

There is also a direct link on the Niagara College website’s Digital Photography page.

The primary goals of this new website are to both showcase and archive student work. It features all the winners from the program’s photo competition SickPix, a 10-print portfolio of work from each graduating student, a complete version of our end-of-year hardcover books Inception, slideshows from New York City field trips, a news page and direct links to all program faculty.

The website will be an invaluable asset in marketing the Digital Photography program to high schools on a global scale and will be updated on a regular basis by students in the program. Visitors to this website will be given comprehensive insight into this two-year diploma program which will have its third graduating class this spring.

The program has an exceptional and exciting project-based curriculum which prepares graduates for the real world as competent, professional image-makers. This website was developed in collaboration with students in the New Media Web Design program at Niagara College who were given this project as a term assignment.

Many thanks to Ryan Morris, Darrin Conway, Ambika Parsons and their instructor Mark Hardwick as well as  program coordinator Linda Roote.
