To recognize the importance of continuous learning and support the College’s strategic goal of retaining and developing a strong team, last year the college introduced a new tuition assistance practice for full-time employees who pursue an approved certificate, diploma, or undergraduate or graduate degree.
Details of the practice, including application forms, can be found here.
“This practice is designed to recognize and support employee efforts and commitment when pursuing further postsecondary education,” said college president Dan Patterson. “The College is committed to enhancing and encouraging employee learning and development, to ensure our high performance team is well-equipped to meet the needs of students and a rapidly-changing postsecondary landscape.”
Applications for the program will be considered by the College’s Tuition Assistance committee. The credentials being sought by an applicant must align with the College’s strategic direction and be consistent with the employee’s professional development plan.
