The NC Employee Climate Survey kicks off on Feb. 18 and there are many prizes to be won – including iPads and gift certificates.
The Colleges fourth Employee Climate Survey, which is delivered online, will run from Feb. 18 to March 7. All full-time faculty and staff, partial load and sessional faculty, and regular part-time support and administrative staff are invited to complete the survey, which measures important elements in our workplace, including respect, fairness, trust, leadership and management quality, manageable work stressors, recognition and opportunity, safety and workplace social support.
About the Employee Climate Survey
The Employee Climate Survey engages NC employees, takes the temperature of the Colleges work environment and generates important feedback that serves as a catalyst for positive change at NC. As a key factor in maintaining a healthy organization that is committed to continuous improvement, the survey is a very important exercise for Niagara College.
The survey will be delivered by Metrics@Work, a local firm with expertise in employee engagement and organizational measurement.
Participation is important. The usefulness of the survey results are directly related to the level of participation. Previous surveys have enjoyed excellent response rates, and the College hopes to build on that high level of participation with this survey. Please take the time to complete the Employee Climate Survey and ensure that your voice is heard.
Chance to win prizes
There will be weekly prize draws at the end of each survey week: Feb. 21, Feb. 28, and March 7. When a NC employee completes the survey, his or her name will be entered automatically into a draw for prizes at the end of that survey week. There is also an incentive to complete the survey early; those who complete the survey by Feb. 21 will be entered into prize draws for all three weeks.
The prize draws do not interfere with the confidentiality of the survey. Survey results are completely anonymous. Each employee will be given a ballot number upon completion of the survey. Metrics at Work will supply a list of winners weekly to the CPOD office. CPOD will contact the winners to come and claim their prize.
There are 53 prizes to be won in total, including iPad Airs (three), $50 gift certificates to Benchmark Restaurant (10), $25 gift certificates from the NCT Winery/Beer Store (10), $25 gift certificates to the NC Greenhouse (10), and $5 Tim Hortons gift certificates (20).
The first draw on Feb. 21 will give away:
One iPad Air;
Four $50 gift certificates to the Benchmark Restaurant;
Four $25 gift certificates from the NCT Winery/Beer Store;
Four $25 gift certificates to the NC Greenhouse; and
Seven $5 Tim Hortons gift certificates.
Surveys are confidential
All responses to the Employee Climate Survey will remain confidential. Those who complete the survey, do so through an outside party in complete confidence. The College does not have access to the raw data or any report or information that would identify an individual.
