In a little more than two weeks, NC will undertake its fourth Employee Climate Survey, designed to engage employees, take the temperature of our work environment and generate important feedback that serves as a catalyst for progressive change at NC.
The survey is delivered online and will once again be administered by Metrics@Work, a local independent firm. The survey period runs from February 18 to March 7. All full-time faculty and staff, partial load and sessional faculty and regular part-time support and administrative staff are invited to complete the survey. The accuracy and reliability of the survey results are directly related to the level of participation. Previous surveys have enjoyed a very strong response rate, and we hope to build on that high level of participation with this survey.
This survey follows Employee Climate Surveys conducted in 2006, 2008 and 2011. It will allow the College to measure the progress made over the course of three previous surveys, and it will also identify areas where we are doing well and areas that may need attention – all with a view toward making NC an even better place to learn and work. Previous results are available for viewing on the G-Drive, at G:Corporate/EmployeeSurveyResults.
It’s important to note that responses to the Employee Climate Survey are confidential. When you complete the survey, you are doing so through an outside party in complete confidence. The College does not have access to the raw data or any report or information that would enable us to identify an individual. For the full details, including an FAQ, please visit the Employee Climate Survey web page.
Watch for further details next week on InsideNC, including an announcement of a series of draws for those who participate. Questions regarding the Employee Climate Survey can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
