NC enters partnership with Six Nations Polytechnic

NC has entered into an arrangement with Six Nations Polytechnic  (SNP) designed to help NC enhance the services it offers aboriginal students and provide access to teaching resources for NC faculty.

President Dan Patterson and SNP president Rebecca Jamieson signed a memorandum of understanding January 10 that will provide access to SNP’s significant aboriginal education resources, and will explore a range of opportunities including curriculum development, training, recruitment and more.

NC current has more than 160 First Nations students and provides a range of services, including a dedicated counselor and manager, student success co-ordinator, events and a student lounge.
