Students can add the Niagara Research Certificate to their Niagara College experience and Co-curricular Record by attending monthly development sessions.
The sessions provide valuable skills that will enhance their research skill set and better prepare them for career endeavours. All Niagara College students are welcome to attend.
Sessions are offered monthly at both the NOTL and Welland campuses. The upcoming session is entitled “Presentation and Research Dissemination Skills,” and it will be held on:
Tues., March 19 in W212 (NOTL Campus), from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Wed., March 20 in AH255 (Welland Campus), from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Future sessions include “Working Effectively in Research Teams,” offered in April.
Certificate level is determined by the number of sessions attended. Different levels of the certificate include:
Gold Level Research Certificate – attend all eight events;
Silver Level Research Certificate – attend six of the eight events; and
Bronze Level Research Certificate – attend four of the eight events.
