The 2013 Student Satisfaction Survey is fast approaching. This province-wide survey will be administered between February 4 -15 of this year. It measures students’ satisfaction with their learning experience and with college services and facilities. Survey results are an important part of Niagara College’s program review and continuous improvement process.  Student Satisfaction is one of five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Ontario colleges, the others being Graduate Satisfaction, Employer Satisfaction, Graduate Rate and Employment Rate.

Students who have completed at least one term of studies will fill out the survey in class. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and is administered by college faculty, staff and students who volunteer to serve as KPI Administrators.  In order to ensure that the survey is administered consistently and in accordance with Ministry guidelines, all new administrators must complete a training session.

With our increase in programs and enrolment over the years, more volunteers are needed to serve as KPI Administrators during the two-week survey period.  Volunteers can administer the survey to one program or help with other programs, and teaching schedules and other scheduling conflicts will be accommodated.

Two training sessions will be offered at each campus at the end of January (dates/times listed above).  If you are interested in helping administer the survey this year, please email Tassia Gabbidon at and indicate which training session you will be attending. Be sure to indicate the date and time of the session you wish to attend, include your name and contact information when registering. If you are not available during any of the times listed above, individual arrangements can be made.

If you have any questions, please contact Katerina Gonzalez, manager, Planning and Institutional Research at ext. 4335 or email
