Benchmark Restaurant is excited to announce its new lunch and dinner menus. Our menus will change more frequently and are designed as a window into the curriculum being taught in the teaching kitchens at the Canadian Food and Wine Institute.
Join us for our $25 dollar prix fixe lunch that includes a glass of NC Wine or NC Beer, or stop in for a quick bite with our $5 appetizers. The lunch menu is approachable and features old favourites and exciting new dishes that can be described as nothing short of palate pleasing!
Our dinner menus will change weekly and are offered at the approachable prix fixe menu style of $30 for 2 courses and a glass of NC Wine or NC Beer. Or indulge in a 3 course dinner for $35 with a class of NC Wine or NC Beer. All menus are available online.
As always, Saturday evening will feature our table d’hote menu, in addition to the dinner prix fixe menu, that will be offered at $45 for a premium four course menu.
As this transition has taken place we have developed a more exciting and challenging experience for our student chefs that work to create the exquisite dishes enjoyed in the Benchmark dining room. In mirroring the curriculum of the culinary programs at the Canadian Food and Wine Institute, this has become an opportunity for students to polish their technical skill set and become an asset to any kitchen as they progress in their professional careers.
