Our Team
Indigenous Education has a fulsome team dedicated to supporting and enhancing the student experience for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit students at Niagara College. Our team can often be found at community events meeting prospective students or at Pow Wows in the region. We are active members in the community and can assist students with referrals to agency services. Students may request assistance with the college application process, educational planning advisement, and financial applications including those with funders (i.e. Band funding, Apatisiwin, NPAAMB, WSIB, First Nations, Second Career) Our team also works to provide wholistic experiences, land-based learning, cultural consulting, elder support, and community support. Whether you are interested in coming to the college as a prospective student, you need help as a current student, or you are one of our cherished alumni; Indigenous Education can walk that path with you.
