Indigenous Education Management Circle

Niagara College and the Indigenous Communities have established the Indigenous Education Management Circle (IEMC) which operates under the following mission:

The IEMC is committed to addressing the spectrum of components comprising Indigenous Education, so that we may ensure that the seven generations hereafter, of our People, will have Indigenous culturally appropriate and controlled education available to them in true partnership with Niagara College.

Further, the Circle is committed to ensuring that all of the educational needs of the Indigenous people in this land are met, thereby ensuring our sovereignty as Indigenous people.

Given this, the establishment of the Indigenous Education Office was developed to include resources and services for all Indigenous students and anyone wishing to learn more about Indigenous culture and heritage.
