Paddling Together Student Session , Co-Creating Our Indigenous Strategy

February 13 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Indigenous Education Department in collaboration with the Indigenous Strategy Advisory Committee and Niibin Advisory Services, is embarking on a meaningful journey with the college and broader community to develop an Indigenous Education Strategy.
A key part of this important work is gaining insights from you. These sessions will provide an opportunity to collaborate, share, and actively contribute to developing our Indigenous Education Strategy.
Your participation is vital, and we hope you can join us in this collective effort!
In these sessions, students will be invited to decorate handmade canoe paddles, with Indigenous artwork designed by Tsista Kennedy. Niibin Advisory Services will facilitate the sessions, and dinner will be provided – thank you to the NCSAC for both sponsoring and providing the food for these sessions.
Please register by Feburary 3rd, 2025 if you can to help us with the catering amounts. We understand students have busy schedules, so please come when you can. There is no pressure to attend the entire event. If you can drop in for 15-30 minutes, please still consider coming and have your voice be heard. – we appreciate your time and hope you can join us.
