Niagara College students, in collaboration with Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) and Indigenous Education @ Niagara College, present the Faceless Dolls Workshop, in honour and in memory of murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls (#MMIWG) in Canada and their families. Drop by our craft table (outside The Core) to make your own Faceless Doll and contribute to the goal of 1,200 – one for every reported case in Canada.

All Niagara College students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to participate. This workshop will be led by NC student Mishelle Henry.

“The Faceless Dolls Project is a commemorative art project created by the Native Women’s Association of Canada – a collection of faceless felt dolls in honour and in memory of more than 1,200 missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada.” – NWAC

To learn more about #MMIWG, join us for the film screening of “Finding Dawn” and guest speaker Alkiie Froman, following this workshop (Event Details).
