Partial-Load Registry
Effective the 2026/2027 academic year, all current or previously employed partial-load employees will be automatically registered for partial-load priority consideration.
To provide your supervisor with your preferred maximum number of teaching hours you wish to be assigned, please complete the form below by April 30, 2026. This applies to the September 2026 to August 2027 academic year.
After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.

As per article 26.10D and 26.10E, once an Associate Dean determines there is a partial-load assignment available, priority consideration will be given to eligible employees who:
- Have at least eight (8) months of service as defined by 26.10 C within the last four (4) academic years, and
- Have previously taught a course within the partial-load assignment in the school offering the assignment.
Submitting your maximum teaching hours and meeting the criteria above does not guarantee a partial-load assignment. Partial-load assignments depend on enrolment and program needs each term.
- Registration is open May 1 – April 30 each academic year.
- Employees should submit their maximum teaching hour every year by April 30.
- If hours are not submitted, an eligible employee will still receive priority consideration; however, preferred hours will not be factored into the assignment decision.
