Facial Treatments

All of our facial treatments use professional skin care products specifically chosen for your personal skin care needs.

Many facial treatments cannot be performed if you are currently using professional products containing Retinol. All facials are performed in one large "lab" room without curtains or dividers. Guests may expect to experience noises and disruptions due to other services, mentoring and required activities during their treatment.

You will be required to remove jewelry for facial treatments, and it is recommended to leave all jewelry at home.

All makeup is removed during this service. Clients may wish to bring a comb/brush, or makeup to freshen up with following service.

Cleansing Facial 60 min

Cleanses the skin and exfoliates to remove dead skin cell build up.

Custom Treatment Facial 80 min

Includes cleansing, exfoliating, minimal extractions and treatment serum applied with manual lymphatic drainage massage.

Radiance Facial 150 min

Treat yourself to luminous, renewed skin. This elevated results-driven facial includes all of the personalized components of our Custom Treatment Facial, enhanced with all three advanced skin rejuvenation therapies. Take your skin to the next level when you experience the radiance-boosting power of dermaplaning, nano-infusion and Celluma red light therapy – working together to increase cell turnover, improve tone, and stimulate collagen and elastin production – leading to smoother, brighter and a more revitalized complexion.

Individuals are advised that this service contains flashing lights. Those with medical conditions, light sensitivities or are claustrophobic are advised.

Body Treatments

All body treatments are performed in one large "Lab" room with curtains as dividers. Guests may experience noises and disruptions, due to other services, mentoring and required activities during their treatment. You will be required to remove jewelry for this these treatments. It is recommended to leave all jewelry at home.

Back Facial 50 min

The back is exfoliated with dry brushing then followed with a skin analysis. Depending on your skin type a soothing, balancing or purifying cleansing treatment follows, then an enzyme peel or exfoliating scrub. (If you are prone to breakouts, extractions will be targeted once the peel/scrub are removed.) Your service will conclude with a masque and moisture cream suited to your skin type.

Celluma Light Therapy may be added on to this service for $20 additional fee.

Please Note: Guests should be able to rest comfortably on their stomach for entire duration of this treatment to enjoy this service.

Full Body Massage 50 min

Massage is Relaxation, students do NOT offer RMT massage. Located at 135 Taylor Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Guests must be a minimum of 16 years of age to book a massage.

Men are asked to please bring/wear a pair of shorts to your massage session.

The Welland Campus offers additional massage services at the Student Massage Therapy Clinic.

Hair Removal Services for Women

Waxing cannot be performed on clients who are taking blood thinner medication.

Hair removal treatments are performed using soft or hard wax. Clients can expect redness following hair removal services and may wish to bring make-up to cover any redness.

This "cleaning" service is meant to remove stray hairs and improve appearance of already shaped eyebrows.

Lash and Brow Services

Colour and define your natural lashes and eyebrows with Refectocil Tint.

It is recommended not to wear mascara, especially waterproof mascara, when arriving for this service.

Contact lenses CANNOT be worn during lash services. Clients are responsible to bring their own contact lens case and solution if needed.

Lash tinting cannot be performed if you have cataracts, recent eye surgery, or eye conditions or infections (including Conjunctivitis).

Those with eye sensitivities, are claustrophobic, have difficulty leaving eyes closed, tear up easily or have light sensitivities may have difficulty completing this service.

Brow Lamination 60 min

Create fuller, beautifully defined brows with Brow Lamination. A semi-permanent treatment that smooths, lifts and reshapes the natural brow hairs, creating a lasting polished, fuller-looking appearance.

Skin Rejuvenation

Skin Rejuvenation treatments are not advisable for those with inflamed or cystic acne, severe rosacea, extreme sensitivity, inflammatory skin conditions, compromised barriers or open wounds or lesions.

These services should not be performed on anyone using blood thinners or anticoagulants, those with autoimmune disease, undergoing chemotherapy, radiation or immunotherapy.

Skin Rejuvenation pre-care Instructions:

  • Discontinue use of over-the-counter chemical exfoliating products or those that have been prescribed by a physician or skin therapist, 3 to 5 days prior to any skin resurfacing treatment. Failure to do so will result in service not being completed.

The following should be avoided for as long as detailed below:

  • Accutane 6 months
  • Professional treatments such as fillers, Botox, chemical peels, IPL/laser and micro needling 2 weeks.
  • No waxing, depilatory creams, electrolysis or shaving to the area being treated for 1 - 2 weeks.
  • Avoid unprotected sun exposure or sunburn at least one week before treatment.
  • Manual or chemical exfoliation 3-5 days
  • Discontinue use of any products containing AHA, BHA or retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics or hydroxy acids 5-7 days prior to the treatment.
  • Keep makeup to a minimum the day of treatment if possible and do not experiment with new products before the treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours before the treatment.
  • When available, Microdermabrasion treatments must be preceded with a facial in our spa since September of the current school year.

Skin Rejuvenation post care instructions:

  • Wear sun protecting moisturizers daily and re-apply as needed. Direct sun exposure after a service can damage the cells because they no longer have their shield.
  • Gently cleanse your face before bedtime the day of your treatment with a gentle cleanser and tepid water. Use hydrating serums.
  • Use serums and the recommended skincare products per your skin therapists directions.
  • Do not pick the skin if flakiness or peeling occurs.
  • Do not apply makeup for 24 hours if possible. Continue to wear SPF30+ daily.
  • Avoid sweaty exercise, saunas, and swimming for at least 48 hours after treatment.
  • Discontinue other forms of manual or chemical exfoliation for 1 week.
  • Avoid using any active skin care (including AHA/BHA’s, exfoliants, Vitamin A, Retinol, etc) for at least 7 days.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 10 - 14 days to avoid risk of hyper pigmentation and sensitizing the skin.
Celluma Light Therapy add on to Facials, Back Facial & Microdermabrasion 30 min

ADD-ON SERVICE (cannot be booked alone) can be booked as an add-on to a Facial, Back Facial or Microdermabrasion. Celluma can be booked with both Dermaplaning and Nano-Infusion.

Target signs of aging and treat acne through the power of LED technology. The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as simulate the production of collagen. Research has shown that LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and superficial hyperpigmentation.

This treatment is for all skin types, it is non-invasive, painless and requires no downtime. Individuals are advised that this service contains flashing lights. Those with medical conditions, light sensitivities or are claustrophobic are advised.

Dermaplaning 20 min

**ADD ON TO CUSTOM TREATMENT & CLEANSING FACIAL** This service cannot be booked as a stand alone service. It must be booked with a facial and can be booked in conjunction with Celluma and Nano-Infusion.

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a special razor like tool to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and facial hair during your facial, just prior to exfoliation. This service is generally safe for people with skin that doesn’t usually experience breakouts and isn’t very sensitive. It is ideal for aging, dry, rough or uneven skin tone. It may improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, scaring, hyperpigmentation and aid in brightening skin.

Nano-Infusion 20 min

**ADD ON TO CUSTOM TREATMENT FACIAL ONLY** This service cannot be booked as a stand alone service. It can be booked in conjunction with Celluma and Dermaplaning.

The Rezenerate Nano-Infusion wand represents the cutting edge of skincare technology that can achieve resurfacing-like effects. It uses tiny microscopic silicone tips that gently create micro-channels in the top skin layer for deep serum absorption, gentle exfoliation and boosting skin health. This aids in cellular turnover by gently encouraging the skin’s natural regenerative process. Creates a smoother texture by boosting collagen and elastin. Improves skin tone, helping with superficial pigmentation and brightening the complexion. It is particularly suited for maintaining skin vitality and addressing minor texture concerns. Users may enjoy enhanced product efficacy and gradual improvements in the skin appearance.

Microdermabrasion 45 min

Deep exfoliation, improve and rejuvenate the appearance of your skin. Clients may wish to bring makeup to touch-up, to minimize redness following this facial service.

Pre-treatment Instructions

  • If you are prone to cold sores you will need to contact your physician/pharmacist for antiviral medication to avoid a post treatment breakout. It is recommended you begin preventative/prophylaxis treatment 2 days prior to treatment and continue for 5 days post treatment.
  • Discontinue use of over-the-counter Retinol, Glycolic and other Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Salicylic or Beta Hydroxy Acids, or other exfoliation products 3-5 days prior to treatment.
  • Discontinue the use of prescription Retinoid products (Retin-A, Renova, Tretinoin, Avita, Alustra or other brands of Tretinoin), other prescription Retinoid products (Adapalene, Avage, Differin, Tazorac, Tazarotene) 3-5 days prior to treatment.
  • No waxing, electrolysis, other hair removal products or methods within 7 days prior to treatment.
  • No Botox, Collagen, or other Dermal Filler injections within 14 days prior to treatment.
  • Avoid tanning or tanning cream/sprays for at least a week before treatment.
  • You must NOT have recently had laser surgery or used Accutane.
