Bridge to College (B2C) is a postsecondary pathway and preparation program designed to empower workplace-level students with the skills, confidence, and readiness needed to succeed at Niagara College.
Through the short, structured, and results-focused model, B2C provides a solid foundation for college success. Delivered through self-paced online learning modules with support from Niagara College instructors and staff, the program runs over 6 weeks with 4 hours of engagement per week. Upon completion, participants earn a certificate of completion and enter their college programs more prepared and confident
Individualized Supports
Participants in Bridge to College benefit from a range of personalized supports that promote academic success and a smooth transition to post-secondary education, including:
- Dedicated staff support to assist with individualized academic and career pathway planning.
- Guidance and financial assistance for completing the OntarioColleges.ca application process, including coverage of application fees.
- Coordinated transition support through collaboration with college student success and advising services.
- Structured multi-step pathways that help students progress toward meaningful and sustainable careers in sectors such as General Art and Sciences, Health, and Community services.
Eligibility
- Students graduating in 2025 or 2026 with a majority of workplace-level courses (including English) are eligible to apply.
- A minimum of 60% in Grade 12 English (workplace level) or OLC4O is required.
- For students still in progress, a final grade of 60% in ENG3E will be required for eligibility.
