Thrive@NC (week 3)

The Thrive@NC program is designed to build and enhance resilience in students.
At the heart of Thrive@NC is the Five Factor Model of Resilience comprising gratitude, optimism, self-compassion, and grit, with mindfulness at the very core. Along with the Thriving Strategy each week, we will be covering a Learning Strategy – see the details below for the outline of topics. Our goal is to help students thrive, both academically and personally.
This fall, the Thrive@NC program runs from September 20 to October 18 with weekly sessions, held on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in the Wellness Lounge (N002).

Oct. 11 – Restorative Sleep & Effective Studying
Oct. 18 – Self-Compassion & Calm and Confident Test-taking
