Remembrance Day
November 11 @ 11:00 am

Niagara College will observe Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11, to honour the service and sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces throughout history.
The College community is encouraged to participate in a brief yet meaningful service of remembrance which will be broadcasted over the public address system at 11 a.m. at both campuses.
The service will begin with the poignant strains of “The Last Post,” followed by a reading of Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae’s timeless poem, “In Flanders Fields,” and culminate with one minute of silence. All students, faculty, and staff and administrators are encouraged to join in this important moment of reflection.
Those working or learning remotely are also encouraged to pause at this time to join colleagues and students participating in this important service of remembrance, acknowledging the people who have served, and continue to serve, Canada during times of conflict and peace.
