Black employees and students are invited to participate in an art installation workshop with local artist Nadine Williams.

Nadine Williams is a Black poet and artist from Niagara who has been doing art installations across Ontario related to the United Nations International Decade of African-descended people (2015-2024).

We are excited to be working with her on an art installation at the College. The project will include Nadine working with Black employees and students to co-create a quilt for the United Nations’ Decade of African- descended people.

This will support Project Refresh updates to NC’s campuses to have more inclusive art throughout the College.

This workshop will take place on January 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Welland Campus Learning Commons.
