Mental Health First Aid Basic

Mental Health First Aid is offered to someone with an emerging mental health problem or in a mental health crisis until appropriate treatment is found or the situation is resolved. Register for this course to become a Mental Health First Aider.
Course Name: Mental Health First Aid Basic (MHFA)
Description: MHFA Basic was developed to help people provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. MHFA Basic teaches participants to recognize the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems and to refer people to appropriate supports.

Course Set-up Session: Synchronous – Tuesday, November 2 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. *Note: This session is required to support participants in accessing and preparing to complete Module 1.
