Indigenous Education at NC will host events in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day. Both will be held in advance of the day, on June 20 for students, staff and faculty to attend.

A Three Sisters Soup lunch will be held from 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. at the Welland Campus (L201).

A Sweetgrass Braiding Session will also be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Welland Campus (L201). The sweetgrass for the initiative was harvested from The Community Love Garden at Willowbank, which is located on traditional Haudenosaunee territory.
