Giving Tuesday is the world’s largest generosity movement that encourages people to do good and celebrate giving.

At Niagara College, Giving Tuesday is about supporting what matters most – our students. Every dollar raised on Giving Tuesday (December 3, 2024) will go towards Nourishing Minds, Niagara College’s student food insecurity initiative, helping to provide emergency digital grocery cards and breakfast to students in need.

This year, we have partnered with FirstOntario Credit Union, who have committed to supporting the Nourishing Minds fund with a gift of $12,500 on Giving Tuesday. FirstOntario believes that all students deserve a warm meal and basic essentials, so they can focus on being healthy, happy and learning. Students already have a lot on their plate and they shouldn’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
