FreeJoin us on March 25 to mark Transgender Day of Visibility with a screening of Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story at the Welland Campus (Room AH255) from 2–4 p.m. Following the film, attendees will have the opportunity for reflection and discussion.
Film Description: A lost R&B star who eclipsed Etta James and Little Richard, trans soul singer Jackie Shane blazed an extraordinary trail with an unbreakable commitment to her truth. Forty years after vanishing from public view, this 20th century icon finally gets her second act.

About Trans Day of Visibility: Transgender Day of Visibility (March 31) aims to raise awareness about transgender people.
