Exploring Centres of Excellence in Applied Research

June 4, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Research and Innovation is critical in today’s rapidly changing world.
TVET and post-secondary educational institutions are focal points where research and innovation activities can make a big impact on economic and social development within their respective communities. Research and innovation can also increase employability of graduates and contribute to the professional development of the teaching faculty.
In this session participants will be introduced to research and innovation frameworks that make for success in the postsecondary setting based on Niagara College’s award-winning model, including practical delivery strategies as well as organizational and cultural strategies.
The facilitator has experience creating national level innovation centres from the beginning steps through to maturity and will have strategic and tactical advice for new centre development or continuous improvement.
This session will take place virtually on June 4 from 9 – 10 a.m. For registration, click here.
