Join us for a 60-minute session introducing the new IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Reflection Tool, designed to empower faculty and staff in fostering inclusive academic experiences and environments.

This session will provide an exploration of the tool’s development, showcasing the collaborative process behind its construction and the intentional design choices aimed at addressing diverse needs.

Participants will experience a live demonstration of the IDEA Reflection Tool, gaining insight into its features and functionality. The session will also discuss the challenges faced during the creation of this tool, including determining its scope and the value of reiteration vs. redundancy.

We’ll conclude with a discussion of the next steps for launching the IDEA Reflection Tool to the greater academic community, including plans for feedback opportunities.
