Early student voting on campus: Canadian Federal Election

The 2025 Canadian Federal Election is on Monday, April 28 and Niagara College encourages students to cast their ballot on-campus or in the community.
Elections Canada has designated Niagara College campuses in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake as official voting sites for advance and general voting days.
Voting will take place in the Wellness Centres at both campuses.
Students from any riding can vote on campus. They do not need to reside in Welland or Niagara-on-the-Lake to vote on campus.
Advanced voting
April 13, 14, 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
General voting (Election day)
April 28 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Eligibility
All voters must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, and must prove their identity and address with valid ID.
Staff from Elections Canada will be on-site to help.
