Calling all artists! Colleges & Institutes Canada (CICAN) Student Art Contest is back and in a new space.

The winners of the contest will have their artwork on display at CICAN’s national headquarters in Ottawa where it can be viewed by visiting college and institute leaders, government representatives, and industry partners.

This year, participants are invited to submit work that reflects on one (or more) of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Artwork can be submitted in one of the five following categories:

• Photography
• Painting
• Drawing
• Textile, mixed media, sculpture or printmaking
• Digital illustration or animation

How it works?

When submissions close, CICan’s Art Committee selects three finalists in each category, then staff will vote on a winner. The winners in each category will receive a cash prize of $500, courtesy of TD Insurance and have their artwork displayed at CICAN’s national headquarters in Ottawa.
