Hosted by White Ribbon, this workshop will help students build a deeper understanding of the root causes of gender-based violence, including harmful gender norms and expectations, and explore practical ways that male-identified individuals can help prevent it.

Participants will also examine systems that contribute to violence, such as white male privilege, rape culture and ‘bro’ culture in traditional and social media, and discuss how to promote gender equality and healthy masculinities.

Open to male and male-identifying students.
