Want to skip the lines on Orientation Day? Stop by campus during KickSTART Prep Week and check off important items on your to-do list.

KickSTART Prep Week takes place during the week before Orientation Day, and gives you extra time to visit the campus ahead of time and check things off your to do list: pick up your ID card, take a campus tour, or visit the Bookstore. Freeing up your schedule during KickSTART Prep Week will help make Orientation Day and your first day of classes a breeze.

KickSTART Schedule

Fall Orientation is now over. Please check back for details about what’s happening during Winter KickSTART Prep Week. Here are the types of activities you can expect:

  • In-person drop-in sessions to learn about Brightspace and MyNC, along with a tour to help introduce you to your new campus!
  • Visit the Bookstore to buy your textbooks and materials. The Bookstore typically has extended hours at the start of term.
  • Pick up your ID card. Remember, you must submit your photo online at least 1 business day before it’s ready to be picked up.
  • Join us for your Program Information Session on Orientation Day, which is the culimination of Prep Week.
  • After classes start, join us for a Student Services Fair at each campus.
