Want to skip the lines on Orientation? Stop by campus during KickSTART on the first week of May from 10 am to 4 pm and check off important items on your to-do list.

Pick up your ID card, take a campus tour or join our learning session before Orientation Day. Freeing up your schedule during KickSTART will help make Orientation Day and your first day of classes a breeze. Regular college services on-campus are open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. throughout the week. Note that the Bookstore may have extended hours at the start of term.


KickSTART Schedule

Communication Tools 101 and Campus Tour

Learn about Brightspace, NC Engage and MyNC during a portal learning session. Come visit us on campus in the first week of May between 10 am until 4 pm. A campus tour will take place after each session.

Location
  • Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus (May 7, 2026): Rooms N305 and N306
  • Welland Campus (May 5 to 7, 2026): Rooms M110 and M112

Don’t know how to get to the labs, don’t worry, our Engagement Leaders will be at the main entrance at both campuses to welcome you and walk you to the room.

ID Cards

Important: To order your ID card you must submit your photo online at least 2 business days before it is ready to be picked up.

Your ID card pick up will be available in the Enrolment Services offices at both campuses (WC: SE106 and DJP: W107). Photo ID is required for pickup.

Most Program Information Sessions take place on Orientation, and they are very important!

Attending your Program Information Session is mandatory. Some sessions take place online, while some take place in person. Some may take place during your first week of school.

The Student Services Fair is an orientation event designed to connect you with the essential resources, services, and opportunities to get involved on campus. You will have the chance to meet with staff from various departments, including Student Engagement, International, NCSAC, Academic Advising, Career Services, Athletics and Recreation and so many more.
