Electric vehicle (EV) truck Conversion
Description:
The conversion of a regular pick-up truck to a working electric vehicle. Funds to be used to purchase materials for the student project to convert the original truck to an electric vehicle. Project will enhance student learning.

Global Training Centre
Description:
Consolidating global product delivery with a consistent format and central repository. Program offerings will align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and showcase NC's depth and breadth of expertise and support of partners on the world stage. Programs will support educational and institutional capacity-building with partners around the globe.

Open the PerformaNCe OT and PT Clinic
Description:
Niagara College’s PerformaNCe Therapy Clinic opened in January 2023 as an outpatient clinic and learning enterprise for students. The clinic offers physiotherapy assessments and treatment sessions to the college community and general public, as well as an in-demand occupational therapy pediatric fine motor skills occupational therapy program. Funding will support supplies for physio and occupational therapy treatment and additional staffing to enhance student learning (including hiring two recent alumni) and operations. All first-year Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant students rotate through the clinic to observe treatments and operations, and select second-year students assess patients and develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of faculty.

Applied Research Study: From Pre-Briefing to Skills Performance: Approaches That Support Psychological Safety and Clinical Reasoning in Nursing Students
Description:
Study/Initiative to determine if differences between pre-briefing techniques influence clinical judgement and the experience of Psychological Safety before participating in simulated clinical scenario. Funding this initiative will provide the NC’s School of Nursing and PSW Studies an opportunity to research pre-briefing's impact on clinical reasoning and the psychological safety of nursing students to support the advancement of our programming.
