Supporting Students in the Skills Competition
Description:
A fund to support students in preparing and travelling to Skills Competitions locally, provincially and nationally.

Indigenous Education and Cultural Consultant (IECC)
Description:
The Indigenous Education department will create an I/O position for an Indigenous Education and Cultural Consultant who will support the college community to develop a three-year plan that centers around accountability and responds to the TRC calls to actions, CICan protocol and the IPEC action plan. This work will produce further recommendations on Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, and being in curriculum, co-curricular activities, and IE strategic priorities.

Research Opportunity Fund
Description:
Niagara College is committed to the professional development and innovative spirit of its employees. In this trailblazing spirit, NC will directly support research activities of its employees through a Research Opportunity Fund (ROF). Administered by the Research & Innovation division, this fund will provide financial support to NC employees who wish to pursue research activities. The support delivered by the ROF will in turn stimulate the culture of innovation at NC, build organizational capacity, further the College’s reputation as a top research college, and provide professional development for NC employees.
