Description:

In this course, you will learn about the bodies and organizations involved in Canadian sport, as well as international sport bodies. Various levels and types of sport will be examined. This will include recreational to competitive sport, local to international sport, and youth to adult sport. Areas of emphasis will be on government involvement in sport, key statutes and regulations that govern a sport, and overall governance and policies of various sport organizations globally.
