In this course, you will learn about the bodies and organizations involved in Canadian sport, as well as international sport bodies. Various levels and types of sport will be examined. This will include recreational to competitive sport, local to international, and youth to adult. Areas of emphasis will consist of government involvement in sport, key statutes and regulations governing a sport, and the overall governance and policies of various sports organizations globally.
