This course enhances Social Service Worker students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge by developing and reflecting on individualized learning goals tied to their field placement. It focuses on deepening understanding of the OCSWSSW Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, emphasizing the recognition and resolution of ethical dilemmas in professional casework. Through case presentations, reflective activities, and group supervision, students build self-awareness, critical thinking, and professional responsibility, preparing them to navigate complex ethical dilemmas and foster effective, ethical relationships during their field placement and future social service practice.
