Description:

Students will be introduced to the principles of trauma-informed care interventions with clients. Using a strengths-based, anti-oppressive intervention approach, students will build on their learning from Methods I and apply techniques through lab simulations. Students will develop skills to create a culture of safety for clients through trauma-informed care. Students will learn skills for crisis intervention, including suicide intervention.
