Description:

Students will be able to identify an anti-oppressive framework of human service knowledge and skills required for a beginning competence in delivering social services through a casework approach. Students will be encouraged to develop insight into their values and impact on clients. Students develop interviewing techniques for the micro and mezzo levels of client involvement. Interviewing skills focused on strengths-based practice within a cultural safety environment are developed.
