This course examines the Canadian practices, standards, laws and ethics required to develop professional online initiatives. You will develop research, fact-checking and interviewing skills required to create responsible social media marketing content. Interview techniques and methods of verifying information and sources will also be practiced. You will analyze Canadian media laws, the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards and the Canadian Marketing Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and issues relating to diversity, inclusion and equity.
