In this course you will learn how to create an effective social media presence. You will analyze how these sites work, who uses them and how they are used. The course explores current platforms, their advantages, and disadvantages. The social media campaign lifecycle is examined - from setting meaningful goals, to identifying competitors, to selecting metrics, to creating content, and finally, analyzing results. Case studies of real campaigns are used to explore common social media strategies that organizations employ in Canada today.
