This course will examine aspects of child abuse and family violence as they may be encountered in Early Childhood settings. You will explore your role in recognizing signs and symptoms of abuse; reporting abuse; and supporting children and families who are the victims of abuse, as well as implementing prevention strategies in ECE programs to assist in the protection of children.
