Description:

This course will examine aspects of child abuse and family violence as they may be encountered in Early Childhood settings. You will examine your role in recognizing signs and symptoms of abuse; reporting abuse; and supporting children and families who are the victims of abuse, as well as implementing prevention strategies into ECE programs to assist in the protection of children.
