Description:

Leadership and professionalism are key attributes of business professionals. This course examines how these traits assist supply chain professionals. You will examine the process of building and leading teams, including facilitation and collaboration within and between groups and organizations. You will critically examine change management and the coaching/mentoring process. You will examine the leadership point of view and develop a leader profile. The second part of this course critically examines the negotiation process. You will develop components of negotiation and participate in the negotiation process. You will critically assess the negotiation process from preparation to actual face-to-face negotiations. The course examines other facets of negotiation, such as understanding the other negotiator, responding to power imbalances, and looking beyond the deal to build longer-term relationships.
