Students integrate knowledge of and treatment for musculoskeletal pathologies that may be present in a massage therapy practice. In a lab setting, students will treat conditions common to headaches, orthopedic/postural/joint dysfunction, and overuse injuries, as well as treatments specific to fascial restrictions. This includes the common variables that present as stress and anxiety, pain, scarring, inflammation, infection, and cognitive impairment.
