Students build upon the basic massage therapy experiences learned and practiced from Semester 1. Students are introduced to a variety of clinical assessment skills including observations, palpations and specific special tests. Using assessment findings to arrive at a clinical impression will enhance students abilities to create treatment plans and to effectively and safely promote positive client outcomes. Pharmacology and its implications for massage with non-prescription and alternative substances are addressed.
