This course will examine concepts related to: conducting research in recreation therapy, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. Application of these concepts will be demonstrated through an applied research project with a community partner. Through this course-based research project, students will develop the skills to systematically conduct research in their professional careers. Additionally, the student's ability to interpret and apply information in professional journals will be enhanced.
