Description:

Formulating individualized intervention plans and developing both comprehensive and specific program plans to support achievement of identified goals and objectives are two key components in the therapeutic recreation process. This course will provide you with the opportunity to acquire knowledge about specific strategies and modalities used to create assessment-based care plans using collaborative approaches to attain person-centered and outcome-based results. The theoretical aspects of programming will be explored, as well as the practical aspects through systematically planning, implementing, evaluating and adapting therapeutic recreation programs across diverse settings.
