This course will provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to facilitate leisure education sessions designed to bring about desired changes in the leisure knowledge and behaviour of individuals. The course will address the following three broad areas: a) concepts and models of leisure education; b) leisure education resources; c) instructional and facilitation techniques used in leisure education.
