This course will introduce you to the competencies and expectations of an emerging professional in the field of therapeutic recreation. You will be introduced to the roles of therapeutic recreation professionals across a variety of settings, develop skills to present yourself in a professional manner, effectively market yourself to potential field placement agencies and employers and complete preliminary requirements in preparation for your volunteer work and field placements within the Recreation Therapy Program.
