Leadership is a personal journey upon which one consciously embarks and it is the foundation of successful leisure service delivery. This course is designed to provide you with a framework for understanding leadership including definitions and theories and to learn about and develop essential leadership skills in areas such as group dynamics, communication and motivation. Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to develop your leadership skills through active participation in a variety of leadership situations, providing opportunities to practice and reflect upon what you have learned.
