You will integrate the study, practice, and application of conflict management and crisis resolution strategies involving victims of crime and violent persons. You will learn to identify potential causes of violence and effective techniques for managing conflict and crisis situations. You will utilize effective tactical communication, officer safety techniques and non violent crisis intervention strategies to diffuse potentially violent situations, identify unlawful behaviour, and provide an appropriate level of assistance to victims of crime or circumstance.
